Mega Heatran ex promo leads Japan's Promo Card Pack 6 for GYM events from November 1

A Mega Heatran ex promo is coming to Gym events in Japan. The official Japanese Pokémon Card Game site has revealed Promo Card Pack 6 for the MEGA series, which Pokémon Card Gyms across Japan start handing out on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Each pack holds one random card from seven, led by Mega Heatran ex.

Everything below comes from the Japanese announcement, and the English names Mega Heatran ex, Lebanne and Gastly are the ones PokeBeach used; we’ve matched Lebanne to the Supporter listed in Japanese as ハルジオ. Japan’s prizes and timing differ from ours, so read this as a preview, not a PH schedule.

The seven cards in Promo Card Pack 6

Card	What’s new
Mega Heatran ex	The headline promo
Lebanne (ハルジオ)	Supporter that can heal your Active Pokémon
Golett	New illustration
Gastly	New illustration
Hariyama	Reprint
エネルギーリサイクル	Reprint
ムク	Reprint

Golett and Gastly come with new art. The site says other illustrations of them are in the Japanese expansions ストームエメラルダ (Golett) and ムニキスゼロ (Gastly). The last three cards are reprints of cards the site says have been doing well in official tournaments.

How the Mega Heatran ex promo plays

The Japanese site explains both of Mega Heatran ex’s effects. Its Ability, こうみつどアーマー, reduces the damage it takes from your opponent’s Pokémon’s attacks by 60 as long as it has full HP, meaning no damage counters on it. Its attack, Gigantic Press, adds 140 damage to Gigantic Press on your next turn, so attacking twice in a row can deal 280 damage. The site also calls out its high HP and suggests using its staying power to keep firing Gigantic Press.

Lebanne is a Supporter that heals your Active Pokémon by up to 150, depending on coin flips, which the site says pairs well with Pokémon that tank attacks. That makes it a natural partner for Mega Heatran ex.

How Japanese players earn the packs

• Gym Battle: one pack for taking part, one for winning, and one for winning the rock-paper-scissors tournament (held when nine or more players join). The site also notes that for a set period, the Gym Battle participation prize changes and a 30th Promo Card Pack is given instead; check the Japanese page for the details.
• Deck Sonomama Battle (a battle using decks as they come): one pack for taking part, plus an Eevee promo card.

Prizes are limited and end when stock runs out, and the site says they may change without notice.

What it means for players in the Philippines

This is a Japan-only GYM promotion for now. Pokémon TCG Asia hasn’t announced Promo Card Pack 6 or a Mega Heatran ex promo for the Philippines, and Asian GYM prizes don’t always match Japan’s. If they come here, we’ll report it.

Until then, PH GYMs have their own prizes. The Pokémon TCG GYM Campaign 2026 runs until November 30 and gives a random ASIA Promo Card for every two stamps, and the Delta Reign prerelease schedule lists 43 Build & Battle events from October 23.
