Philippines Ultra Ball League Season 1: six mall events from October 10, ₱1,100 entry

A new league series is on the official Philippine calendar. The 2026–27 Philippines Ultra Ball League Season 1 has six events, all in the Standard format and open to every age, starting Saturday, October 10 at Opus Mall and ending Sunday, November 8 at Robinsons Galleria. Maxsoft is the organizer for all six, and each one has its own page on Pokémon Asia’s official calendar.

Ultra Ball League Season 1	Details

The six stops

Date	Venue	Seats	Register by
Sat, Oct 10	Opus Mall, Bridgetowne, Quezon City	300	Thu, Oct 8, 6:00 PM
Sun, Oct 11	Robinsons Galleria South, San Pedro, Laguna	200	Fri, Oct 9, 6:00 PM
Sat, Oct 17	Robinsons Galleria, Digiworld (Lower Ground), Quezon City	400	Thu, Oct 15, 6:00 PM

Sun, Nov 8	Robinsons Galleria, Digiworld (Lower Ground), Quezon City	300	Fri, Nov 6, 6:00 PM

Two things stand out. The events come in back-to-back weekend pairs, so a Saturday and a Sunday stop are always one day apart. And Robinsons Galleria on EDSA hosts twice, with 700 seats between its two dates. The largest single events are Galleria on October 17 and Metro East on October 18, with 400 players each.

How it compares with the Great Ball League

The Ultra Ball League arrives just as the Great Ball League Season 1 played out at stores on October 3–4. The two series look quite different on the official calendar:

Great Ball League Season 1	Ultra Ball League Season 1
Events	5, on October 3–4	6, from October 10 to November 8
Venues	Stores in Taguig, Quezon City, Pasig, Angeles City and Mandaue City	Malls in Metro Manila and Laguna
Entry fee	₱500	₱1,100
Seats	448 in total (32 to 256 per event)	1,800 in total (200 to 400 per event)
Registration closed	5 to 14 days before each event	2 days before each event

The Ultra Ball League costs more than twice as much to enter, but it has four times the seats and a much later cut-off. If you missed the Great Ball deadlines, every Ultra Ball deadline is still ahead of you.

The calendar pages don’t list prizes, a schedule for the day or how the league connects to the Premier Ball League at SMX Manila on January 16, 2027. We’ll add those details if Pokémon Asia publishes them.

What it means for players in the Philippines

Six open Standard events with up to 400 players each are a good warm-up for the Premier Ball League in January. A few tips:

1. Register early. Seats are capped at every stop, and the first deadline is Thursday, October 8. Each event has its own page, so sign up for each stop separately.
2. Pick your pair. If you want two events in one weekend, the October 17–18 pair (Galleria, then Metro East) has the most seats, 800 in total.
3. Budget for it. At ₱1,100 per event, playing all six costs ₱6,600 in entry fees.
4. Players outside Metro Manila and Laguna: no Visayas or Mindanao stops are listed yet. In the meantime, the GYM Campaign 2026 runs at GYMs nationwide until November 30, and our PH event calendar lists official league events and GYM Battles across the country.

If you’re aiming for January, our Premier Ball League guide covers the date, divisions and what to bring. Registration for that one closes December 10.
