Pokémon TCG Pocket Dual Fusion release date: October 29 in the Philippines, with Mega Mewtwo X ex and Mega Greninja ex

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Dual Fusion release date is set. According to Pokémon.com, the next expansion launches on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, which is Thursday, October 29 at 9:00 a.m. in the Philippines, by our conversion. It’s the debut of dual-type Pokémon, led by the Psychic- and Fighting-type Mega Mewtwo X ex and the Water- and Darkness-type Mega Greninja ex.

Pokémon points to the October 2026 Producer Letter for the bigger changes arriving alongside this expansion, including a roughly six-week pack cycle in the new series.

The six rental decks include dual-type decks built around Mega Mewtwo X ex and Mega Greninja ex, and they’ll be replaced when the next booster pack comes out. The new elite deck arrives in your Gifts: a Dragon-type list with Mega Rayquaza ex and Dragonair from Ruler of the Skies and Gouging Fire from Paradox Drive, which Pokémon says can take down opponents quickly with Mega Rayquaza ex’s Mega Burst attack.

PokemonRestocks also reports that the set has Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise Illustration Rares (not yet detailed by Pokémon), and PokeBeach covered the reveal too.

Pokémon has lined up events through late fall and early winter, into January 2027. Dates are as listed by Pokémon, which says more details are coming:
